Wildlife Wonders is a predator-proof, 30-acre sanctuary just 5 km west of Apollo Bay on the Great Ocean Road, offering immersive guided tours through lush Otways bushland. Protected by a fox- and cat-proof fence, wildlife roam freely — from koalas, kangaroos, emus, to rare potoroos and bandicoots — alongside abundant native plants and birds. As a social enterprise created by the Conservation Ecology Centre, all profits fuel vital research and conservation efforts to protect the region’s biodiversity Each visit supports the long-term resilience of the Otways.

Great Ocean Road Wildlife Park
Great Ocean Road Wildlife Park is a family-owned sanctuary nestled on 39 acres in Gellibrand Lower, just 15 minutes from the Twelve Apostles. Established in 2009, the park offers visitors the chance to hand-feed and interact with native Australian wildlife, including kangaroos, wallabies, emus, and koalas, in a natural, free-range environment. The park also features a Dingo Awareness Centre, focusing on educating the public about these iconic yet misunderstood animals. With a commitment to conservation and sustainability, the park provides an immersive experience that supports wildlife protection and ecological education.
